Vishay has purchased multiple RENA Technologies Revolution+ automatic wet benches to increase its power-device production at Newport, Wales. These systems support small lot sizes with fast turnaround.

Vishay Intertechnology Inc is showcasing its MaxSiC(tm) series of 1200 V SiC MOSFETs at APEC 2024 along with its expansive line of passive components and semiconductor solutions designed to address power electronics trends. eSMP(r) is a risk-based mitigation planning tool for large scale construction projects. This tool allows Project staff to identify and prioritize risks associated with their project before taking steps to implement mitigation measures effectively, efficiently, and cost-effectively – thus meeting stakeholders’ engagement plans, stakeholder management processes and planning practices as well as any concerns communicated to it through stakeholder engagement plans or decision-making and planning processes.
When archaeology/cultural heritage discoveries occur, GDII will immediately notify museum experts and cease construction activities in the find area, notifying employees so as to prevent physical interventions by any of their employees. Findings will then be identified and documented by the Project before being disseminated back out to settlements within 24 hours.
The Environmental, Safety, and Management Plan should be regularly evaluated in order to gauge whether the Project is on schedule with implementation of mitigation measures, slightly delayed, or behind schedule – using suggested color coding in Template 2. Furthermore, contractors/subcontractors must adopt management controls so as to comply with the ESMP.

In particular, Vishay will highlight their newly released 1200 V MaxSiC MOSFETs featuring on resistances as low as 250 mohm in industrial applications and roadmap for 650 to 1700V SiC Schottky diodes in RoHS compliant and halogen free packages such as SMPD 2L/eSMP 2L packages that make them perfect for power factor correction (PFC/OHFR).
These devices feature a Merged PIN Schottky (MPS) design, offering lower forward voltage drop, capacitive charge and reverse leakage current than traditional silicon-based devices of equal package size.
